The best from 10 years of team building

We, the founders of Teamtastic, run Teamfabriken in Limhamn (formerly Utmaningarnas Hus) and, at the time, had more than 10 years of experience in team building and entertainment. When Utmaningarnas Hus opened its doors in 2006, it was a bold pioneer in its industry and was characterized by a cheerful, exciting, and eventful atmosphere. Over time, we learned a great deal about what people find fun and how people function in teams. In response to our customers’ expressed and unspoken wishes, we decided to open a brand-new facility with certain criteria that had to be met:

Several teams should be able to play the same game in parallel to increase the competitive atmosphere
"We wanted to maximize the contact areas between the competing teams to amplify the feelings of joy, irritation and fighting spirit. The team spirit should be as great as possible"

It should be straightforward and clear what the tasks are
The challenge should not be to figure out what to do, but to actually perform the task. You should never get the feeling that it is impossible.

The activity should take one hour
We noticed that companies looking for an activity to take on during or after a working day rarely had much more than one hour at their disposal.

Full focus on fun and teamwork and adapted for an adult audience

200 ideas in a hot tub 

It all started in a hot tub in 2014, in Blentarp just south of Malmö. There we sat, Fredrik, Niclas and Olle, and brainstormed on which 9 of the 200 ideas we had that would be realized in this new venture. All three are co-owners of Utmaningarnas Hus in Limhamn. The ideas we brainstormed were derived from Utmaningarnas Hus but not adapted for that facility. We finally agreed on 9 assignments and got down to work. Two years of hard work followed, sweat and some tears, but also a lot of laughter and joy as the concept was built up both in theory and in practice. Because we build everything ourselves - from idea to reality.

Nothing is impossible. Every idea we have can be solved. The hard part is to do it on budget and on time. However, we always do the best we can with our wild ideas. It's both a job and a hobby, a passion to see people having fun," says Niclas, who has always liked to build and dreamed of becoming an inventor as a child.

And the drawings? They only exist inside Niclas' head. He is the engineer and the brain behind the technical solutions. Fredrik is his right-hand man who makes sure everything is built according to plan. Olle is the visionary and strategist of the group.

We want to offer joy and pleasure; for colleagues, friends and people. It's about daring, having fun together, all for a better and more rewarding everyday life together. We want to create great teams and great shared memories. Since the Swedish name "Lagtastiskt" didn't sound quite right, it became Teamtastic, Team and Fantastic combined instead.

The word 'team building' sometimes has a chilling effect on employees, but working together doesn't have to be forced and serious. Our activities are characterized by joy, humour, a smile on the lips and a twinkle in the eye!

Together with our customers, we want to make team building a little more useful, a little more relaxed, a little more informal and, above all, a lot of fun!
